The California Geothermal Energy Collaborative will be hosting the first annual Women in Geothermal (WING) reception in at the GRC meeting in Vegas on October 1st and is looking for financial support from companies for the event.
The California Geothermal Energy Collaborative will be hosting the first annual Women in Geothermal (WING) reception in at the GRC meeting in Vegas on October 1st. The reception will be primarily for networking with brief remarks about the objectives of WinG and to solicit input about programs that help support of the group’s objectives.
After the reception a post-reception survey will be posted and a steering committee elected to carry the activities forward over the first year in hopes that this becomes an actual organization with a clear structure and programs (such as mentorship, micro-grants, etc.) More information about the event can be found here: http://womeningeothermal.eventbrite.com/
