Zorlu Energy has applied for a production license for its 24.9 MW Alasehir II geothermal power project in Manisa, Alasehir, Turkey.

Zorlu Energy announced that it applied to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority  to obtain a power generation license for the 24.9 MW geothermal power plant planned to be built in Manisa, Alasehir.

In its statement, Zorlu Energy says: “The Alasehir geothermal project, which is a 100% affiliate of our company has applied to EMRA to obtain production license for Ala?ehir II Geothermal Power Plant Project, which will have a 24.9 MW installed power generation capacity, which Zorlu Geothermal Energy Electricity Generation Inc. plans to build in Manisa province Alasehir province.
