12th European Geothermal PhD Days/ Geothermal Winter School, Feb. 2021

The 12th European Geothermal PhD Day will be taking place virtually February 15-16, 2021 – Don’t miss the deadline for abstract submission of Nov 30, 2020. In addition a Geothermal Winter School will be held February 16-19, 2021.

CY Cergy Paris University (CYU, France) and the University of Neuchâtel (UniNE, Switzerland) are pleased to co-organise this year the 12th edition of the European Geothermal PhD Days (EGPD), which will take place virtually on 15-16th February 2021.

The theme of these days will be: Geothermics in a critically stressed crust

They will be divided into four sessions in which European PhD students are invited to register by sending their abstracts in order to present a poster:

Then, PhD students will have the possibility to know more about practical geothermal applications during half a day (in common with MEET Geothermal Winter School 2021):

The deadline for abstracts submission is 30th November 2020 and the deadline for registration is 31st December 2020.

All necessary information is available on the website: https://web.u-cergy.fr/egpd2021/.

We therefore invite all PhD students from European universities, research institutions/geological services, whose research subjects relate to this scientific theme to participate in EGPD 2021.

In addition, in the framework of the European project H2020 “MEET”, the rest of the week (16-19th February 2021) will be dedicated to the Geothermal Winter School 2021 opened to European students in geothermal (Master and PhD) and oriented towards the three main MEET project objectives:
