The International Geothermal Investment Summit (IGIS 2026) will bring together industry representatives and investors in Cappadocia, Türkiye on 26-27 November.
The 2nd International Geothermal Investment Summit – IGIS 2026, organized by the Geothermal Investors Association (JEMYAD), will be held in Cappadocia, Türkiye on 26-27 November, 2026. Bringing together public representatives, investors, financial institutions, technology companies, project developers, academics, and industry professionals from Türkiye and around the world, this year’s summit will be held under the main theme of “A New Era in Geothermal Investment”.
The event will address the future of geothermal energy, next-generation technologies, investment opportunities, and financing models. At IGIS 2026, the changing investment and technology agenda for geothermal energy will be discussed through the topics of closed-loop geothermal systems, energy security, next-generation geothermal technologies, financing models, direct use in agriculture and industry, thermal health tourism, and regional development.
The summit aims to consider geothermal energy not only as a source of electricity generation but also as a strategic resource that can create high added value and new investment opportunities in various sectors.
Transforming Türkiye’s strong geothermal potential into higher added value through new technologies, access to deep hot rock resources, closed-loop systems, international capital, and diverse usage models will also be a key agenda item of the summit. IGIS 2026 will strengthen dialogue between the public and private sectors, while also providing a significant meeting platform for new collaborations among investors, technology providers, financial institutions, and international industry representatives.
Following the first IGIS summit held in Cappadocia in 2025 , this year marks the second time the international geothermal ecosystem will come together. The program will begin with a Welcome Reception and Leaders’ Dinner on November 26th, followed by the main summit sessions at the Cappadocia Marriott Hotel on November 27th.
