Approval for acquisition of geothermal plant in Turkey by Albioma
The acquisition of all shares of Kuyucak Geothermal by Albioma SA has been authorized by the Competition Board
In news we shared earlier, we reported that a sales contract was signed for the acquisition of Kuyucak Geothermal by Albioma SA. The said transaction, which is subject to notification, was authorized by the Competition Board.
Turcas Kuyucak Geothermal Elektrik Üretim A.?. signed a Share Purchase Agreement in December 2021 for the sale of all of its 100% owned shares.
With the decision dated February 3, 2022 and numbered 22-07/103-39, the acquisition of all shares of the Company by Albioma SA was authorized.
The Competition Authority is an independent administrative authority established to ensure the formation and development of goods and services markets in a free and healthy competitive environment, to oversee the implementation of this Law and to fulfill the duties assigned to it by the Law.
