Celikler Holdings brings additional 32 MW geothermal unit online at Pamukören, Turkey

With the addition of the Pamukören 5 geothermal plant, Celikler Enerji brings the total capacity of its Pamukören geothermal plant complex to 176.5 MW.

Turkish Celikler Holdings has announced the commercial start of operations of the Pamukören Unit 5 (7) unit in Turkey.

The first three units at Pamukören were brought online in 2013 with a capacity 67.5 MW (3 units), additional 45 MW (2 units) in 2015, 32 MW in 2019 and now the additional 32 MW.  The total capacity of the Pamukören complex has now reached 176.5 MW and Celikler’s total geothermal power generation capacity under operation to 213 MW.

Celikler Enerji/ Celikler Holding is the third largest geothermal operator in Turkey

Turkey’s total geothermal power generation capacity has therewith reached the total capacity of 1,638 MW.
