Clean Power Asia 2011 to host 250 experts in Bangkok, June 28-30, 2011

A special focus session on Geothermal Developments, as part of Clean Power Asia taking place June 28-30, 2011 in Bangkok/ Thailand will provide the delegates with interesting updates on the geothermal power generation potential in the region and interesting investment and partnership opportunities.

Clean Power Asia 2011 is to welcome over 250 clean power industry experts in Bangkok, June 28-30, 2011.

The Ministry of Energy of Thailand who is officially supporting Clean Power Asia and the supporting host utilities EGAT and PEA ENCOM look forward to welcoming regional power industry professionals interested involved in new clean energy developments and initiatives in the region. The ASEAN countries Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam are putting considerable effort into setting renewable energy targets for their countries. Supportive policy frameworks to attract private sector investment have also been put in place.

Clean Power Asia 2011 will provide an overview of recent renewable energy project lessons learned and upcoming project opportunities.

A special focus session on Geothermal Developments will provide the delegates with interesting updates on the geothermal power generation potential in the region and interesting investment and partnership opportunities.

In addition, the clean power policy, strategy and finance track will provide delegates with the opportunity to get updates on lessons learned from global pricing and tariffing, investment criteria for investable power projects, identifying key risks in clean energy projects and financing experiences and opportunities.
