Clinton Foundation continues clean energy push in the Caribbean

The Clinton Climate Initiative and the Rocky Mountain Institute announce an official partnership aimed at promoting green energy in the Caribbean region.

The Clinton Foundation has been a long time supporter for the adaption of renewables in developing economies and particularly in the Caribbean. In a recent post in the Caribbean Journal, “The Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Climate Initiative and the Rocky Mountain Institute have announced an official partnership aimed at promoting green energy in the Caribbean region.”

Some Caribbean countries like Grenada, Saint Lucia, and St. Kitts are working in geothermal and other renewable projects to different degrees of success.

Regarding the the partnership, the Caribbean Journal states “that it will work in select Caribbean islands to develop green energy projects; identify project-financing and investment opportunities to attract capital and develop best practices for collaboration between countries.”
