Deadline extended to Sept. 17, 2018 – Call for Abstracts, European Geothermal Congress

The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) as organizer of the European Geothermal Congress 2019 in The Hague has extended the deadline for submissions of abstracts to September 17, 2018.

The deadline for submissions of abstract for the European Geothermal Congress 2019 has been extended until Monday 17th September 2018.

EGEC announces that it has received many requests to extend the deadline for submission of abstracts for the European Geothermal Congress 2019. In addition, EGEC was aware that there were some technical issues with the website and system during periods of time this week.

As a result, the EGC 2019 Organising Committee has decided to extend the final deadline for the Call for Abstracts.

You are advised, however, to submit your abstract as soon as possible.

EGEC: We thank the many people who have already made their submission. We remind that they may also edit, review, and/or re-upload a file until the closing of the Call for Abstracts, using their submission ID and password. Only the latest file uploaded will be kept.

The European Geothermal Congress takes place June 11-14, 2019 in The Hague, Netherlands.

The organisers request the submission of abstracts for papers concerning all areas of geothermal energy use, from very shallow systems to deep drilling and high-enthalpy fields. Both the technological and the social-economic side will be covered.

The programme will be divided into three basic threads or “streams”, using the practises and standards appropriate to each respective target group. We hope, however, that you will use this unique opportunity to look outside your own normal sphere or interest and learn about the work of those in other fields, all connected by the desire to give geothermal energy the spot on the energy landscape it deserves!

The three streams are:
