The event promises again to be a high profile event, with a large number of high profile speakers and a great program.

The event will kick off the night before the actual start of the conference with a networking reception to be held at the exhibition space of the event in the Harpa Conference and Concert Hall of the city of Reykjavik.

Among the industry speakers is a key note of Michael Porter, a Harvard Business School professor, one of the 50 most influential business thinkers in the world, according to Thinkers50, a ranking just published in November 2015. Often called the Oscars of management thinking, Thinkers50 calls Partner “the father of modern business strategy.” (see Forbes Magazine)

Regarded as an expert on competitiveness, he presented his views on industry clusters and in particular on the role of the geothermal cluster in Iceland at the first Iceland Geothermal Conference in 2010 and is now coming back.
