DOE offers geothermal research funding for small businesses

DOE-GTO is offering funding for small businesses who aim to develop geothermal technologies addressing present and future energy challenges and needs

The Department of Energy (DOE) Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) has announced a funding opportunity for small businesses who aim to develop equitable and inclusive innovative technology solutions for current and future energy challenges and needs. The GTO is currently soliciting applications for the funding. Letters for intent are due on January 3, 2022 while the full applications should be submitted by February 22, 2022.

For those who wish to learn more about this opportunity, a funding opportunity announcement (FOA) webinar will be held on December 17, 2021. The webinar link will be posted on the Small Business Innovation Research (SBRI) website.
