European universities found European Geothermal Energy Education Network (Geo3En)

UniLaSalle and its European partners from the University of Darmstadt (Germany), University of Zagreb (Croatia) and University of Reykjavik (Iceland) are launching the Geothermal Energy European Education Network (Geo3En), an Erasmus + initiative for students wishing to deepen their knowledge on geothermal energy.

This program, funded by the European Commission, aims to lay the foundations for a future Erasmus Mundus Masters specializing in geothermal engineering, taught in English within the partner schools of the Geo3En program. This future course will allow students to acquire skills in geology, materials sciences, mechanical engineering, management of electrical systems, modeling, energy economics, but also in project management, entrepreneurship. The acquisition of these skills will enable future graduates to lead and design complex geothermal projects.

A webinar & a launch questionnaire for the project

In order to meet the needs of industrialists in the geothermal sector, and also for research, the Geo3En program will be co-constructed with European geothermal players, UniLaSalle and its partners.

Upstream, a questionnaire drawn up by the program partners is also available to professionals in the geothermal energy sector, in order to better identify the skills essential for such a course.
