German Geothermal Congress – 27-29 November 2018, Essen/ Germany

The annual German Geothermal Congress by Germany’s Geothermal Association (BVG) is taking place this year in Essen/ Germany – November 27-29, 2018.

The German Geothermal Association (Bundesverband Geothermie, BVG) is inviting to the Geothermal Geothermal Congress (DGK) 2018. The event will take place 27-29 November 2018 at the Haus der Technik in Essen/ Germany.

The congress provides an up-to-date status of the potential of geothermal energy development in Germany, will present current market developments and project examples as well as to offer a broad space for the exchange of experiences and personal discussions.

The lecture program was further expanded due to the numerous submissions. Visitors to this year’s geothermal conference will be presented with eight research projects and practical experience on near-surface and deep geothermal energy in eight workshops, 21 forums and up to four parallel lecture series.

Over 170 speakers present the current state of research and practice. To date, more than 85 research institutions and companies have been registered. The exchange with the international experts is taken into account in twelve English-speaking sessions. In a separate workshop, this year’s partner country Denmark will be presented and business opportunities will be presented.
