German webinar gives insight into the operation of the Insheim geothermal power plant, Germany

In a webinar last week, Jörg Uhde, Managing Director of geothermal operator Pfalzwerke geofuture gave an interesting overview over the operation of the geothermal power plant of Insheim in Germany. (the webinar is in German)

Our German partner website TiefeGeothermie (Enerchange) has launched an interesting webinar series featuring interesting speakers on a weekly basis – although in German language.

In the second webinar, Jörg Uhde, the Managing Director for Pfalzwerke geofuture GmbH, the operator of the geothermal power plant at Insheim, Germany. The plant has been in operation for eight years producing geothermal power. In his presentation, Mr. Uhde provides an overview on the operation, the challenges as well as insights on the future and the potential extraction of Lithium from geothermal brine derived on site.
