The Ministry of Mineral and Energy Resources (ESDM) of Indonesia has opened the bidding for the exploration and preliminary survey rights for the Cipanas geothermal area. This area is located in Cianjur Regency, West Java and has a potential capacity of 85 MWe.

The ESDM is currently accepting applications and supporting documents for those who are interested in participating in the tender. Applications will be accepted until February 28, 2022. The detailed procedures and necessary forms can be found in the EBTKE website.
