Job: Geothermal Program Analyst, U.S. DOE Geothermal Techologies Office

KeyLogic Systems is recruiting a Mid-Level Geothermal Program Analyst to support the United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO). The GTO researches, develops, and validates innovative and cost-competitive technologies and tools to locate, access, and develop geothermal resources in the United States. This position will provide direct support to DOE’s Hydrothermal team.

The Geothermal Program Analyst will provide comprehensive technical energy analysis of geothermal and hydrothermal issues and support the GTO in planning and management of applied research and development programs in the geothermal space. The position will assist the DOE personnel with the development of technical analyses needed for program planning meetings and other industry liaison work. As directed by the DOE Program Staff, this position will develop analytic tasks that provide technical background, data compilations, or straw-man technical proposals for the Office. This position will develop papers and presentations to assist the DOE Staff in the communication of technical and program knowledge both within DOE and external to outside stakeholders. The Program may also require analytical support that includes market research and analysis, financial analysis (budgets, spend plans, and development of annual operating plans) and modeling, policy analysis, and economic analysis.
