German engineering group Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG is seeking to fill the position of Site Manager for a geothermal power project North of Nairobi in Kenya.
This is a contract position in the company’s “Power Plants, Solar Thermal, Desalination and Oil & Gas” division, dealing with worldwide planning and construction projects in the fields of power plant construction and power transmission.
Your tasks:
- Run a team of multi-discipline lead engineers at Site
- Design Review
- Project Management
- Project Field Supervision and
- Attend Inspection Test for construction
Your profile:
- Profound experience in geothermal power plant
- Bachelor engineering degree holder in Electrical or mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in multi-national and multi-discipline projects
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience in managing large power projects
- Strong leadership qualities and good communication skills
Project started earlier this year with a construction period of 2 years
