Calpine is currently looking for candidates to fill in the position of Wireline Manager/Production Engineer in the Geysers facility in California.
Job description
Calpine’s Resource Group helps with the maintenance and development of the Geysers resource field in Northern California. As an integral part of the team that monitors the geothermal resource, the Production Engineer/Wireline Manager will work with the production analysis team to help maximize production at the Geysers by (1) analyzing production and injection data, (2) collaborating with other Resource and Operations professionals to create reservoir management solutions and (3) plan and operate the day-to-day operations of the Wireline Crew to help with resolving production issues and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have had experience in field operations as well as data-driven analysis for reservoir and production optimization.
