In a release shared last week, Japan-based Kyushu Electric Power Company (Kyuden) announced it has initiated work preparation for the construction of a geothermal power station in the northeastern area of Mt. Eboshi, situated in Kirishima City, Kagoshima. The aim is to develop and install geothermal power generation, which can offer a power source that excels in effective domestic energy use and global warming mitigation.
