New initiative seeks to unite geothermal experts in Spain and Portugal

The GEOTHERM-IBERIA initiative led by the IGME seeks to unite experts to promote research and development of geothermal energy in Spain and Portugal.

A group of geothermal experts from Spain and Portugal have come together under the GEOTHERM-IBERIA initiative to promote research and development of the sector in the Iberia region. The initiative seeks to create a nucleus of a possible scientific-technical association in geothermal energy.

The GEOTHERM – IBERIA interest group, led by the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME), seeks to unite experts in the region to share knowledge and advance geothermal research in Spain. The initiative is currently accepting applications from people who are interested in joining the group. The online form for those who are interested may be accessed via this link.
