Online market place launched to match projects with investors
German consultancy group Rödl & Partner has launched a new international online marketplace for renewable energy projects.
For over ten years, German consultancy group Rödl & Partner has actively supported investors and project developers in the renewable energy industry globally. The competition for attractive investment opportunities in Germany and other developed RE markets has increased, and RE has gained momentum in emerging and developing economies.
This is why Rödl & Partner created RENEREX – an international online marketplace for RE projects across technologies free of charge.
RENEREX stands for Renewable Energy Exchange. RENEREX facilitates the exchange of information between investors and project developers and opens up new investment and financing opportunities. The most noteworthy features of RENEREX include:
- Confidentiality: The identity of an investor is only revealed to the project developer when the investor requests access to detailed information, so that investors avoid unsolicited contact. Project developers equally benefit from the fact that their detailed project information can be made available through RENEREX, but remains firmly under their control. Developers decide, which investors they would like to share their detailed information with.
- Trust: We conduct a brief plausibility check regarding the identity of investors and project developers, and of submitted project information, in an attempt to avoid system abuse.
- Security: RENEREX is hosted in Germany and is subject to European Privacy Law. RENEREX is SSL-secured.
In addition, RENEREX provides links to information on RE support programs that can reduce technology, country-, and credit risks.
