Preliminary information released for WGC2020 fellowships by UNU GTP

The UNU Geothermal Training Programme will provide fellowships for the World Geothermal Congress taking place April/ May 2020 in Reykjavik, Iceland. This is though applicable only for fellows of the programme. This preliminary information only, further details to be provided in due time.

The United Nations University Geothermal Training Program (UNU-GTP) will be providing Fellowships for Fellows who are first authors on accepted papers.  The Fellowships are to be considered as a partial funding towards attending the Congress.

The Fellowship application deadline is 8 December 2019:

When submitting your Fellowship application please state that you are a “UNU-GTP Fellow” in the information field “Your position and duties”.  However, if you have already submitted the application without mentioning UNU-GTP, you don’t need to worry or do anything.  We have a list of all Fellows since 1979.  This information is only to make it easier to review the applicants.

Amounts of Fellowships will likely be on the range USD1,500 – 2,500.  The exact amounts will be confirmed as soon as possible along with further information on the awarded Fellowships.
