Program released for Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern – Oct. 27-29, 2021

The program has been released for Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern, the annual event for the geothermal sector in Bavaria, Germany will take place Oct. 27-29, 2021.

This year’s annual Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern will be held from October 27 to 29 in Pullach in the South of Munich, Germany.

Established as the leading event for the fastest developing Geothermal Market in Middle Europe, the forum starts on Wednesday, Oct. 27 with Workshops about scaling solutions and production pumps. In another Workshop well stability and integrity is introduced and discussed. After the Workshops an Icebreaker opens withs drinks and finger food the possibility to discuss with colleagues and make up new contacts.

The second day, the Congress is translated simultaneously. Here, in the welcome session the perspective of the German Energy transition is introduced and the contribution of geothermal energy discussed. In the following forum, heat utilization is in the focus. After lunch and the award session, where the most efficient plants from 2020 and the best applied junior scientific work is decorated, the combined heat and power production will be presented by various speaker and discussed with the audience.

The last day offers practical experiences with the GeoTHOUR at the newest inaugurated geothermal power plant in Bruck at Garching (Alz) by Silenos, a joint venture of RAG and Strabag. The most innovative approach is here the water cooling with a nearby passing channel.
