Recent geothermal cluster initiative Geo-Energy Europe meeting in Celle, Germany
In conjunction with the recently held Celle Drilling conference, the European geothermal cluster initiative Geo-Energy Europe met for its regular exchange and discussions on further technology transfer and know-how of companies in the deep geothermal sector.
The European network “Geo-Energy-Europe”, where GeoEnergy Celle is the German representative, also met in conjunction with the recently held Celle Drilling conference 2018. The consortium partners of the EU-funded project arrived in Celle prior to the conference. In addition to the regular exchange of experiences, the program included the presentation of various Celler companies as well as the visit of the drilling simulator and the “Celle Drilling” conference.
The participating eight geo-energy clusters from France, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Ireland, Belgium and Turkey particularly wanted to support small and medium-sized enterprises in transnational cooperation. The aim is to accelerate developments and internationalization, to exchange experiences on deep geothermal energy and to facilitate the transfer of technology and know-how between the companies.
Great to see so many familiar faces in the group of participants.
