Soyak Enerji starts operation of 12.3 Mis 1 geothermal power plant in Turkey

Turkish energy firm Soyak Energy has started operations of its first geothermal power plant in Turkey. The Mis-1 geothermal plant is located in Manisa and has an installed power generation capacity of 12.3 MW.

As reported this morning from Turkey, energy company Soyak Enerji, has received the final acceptance from the authorities for the official start of operations of the Mis 1 geothermal power plant.

The plant has an operating capacity of 12.3 MW, it has been developed by Mis Enerji Üretim A.S. in Alasehir/ Manisa. It is the first of three plants (Mis 1, Mis 2 and Mis 3).

MiS-2 JES and MiS-3 JES Projects have been pre-licensed and they are continuing their work to obtain a production license.
