Successfull drilling campaign increases revenues from San Jacinto geothermal plant

Successful drilling campaign and tariff increase grow revenues from San Jacinto geothermal plant for Polaris Infrastructure in Nicaragua.

With a successful drilling campaign, Polaris Infrastructure has been able to increase the operating capacity of its San Jacinto geothermal plant in  Nicaragua and thereby its revenues. In the release of its quarterly results for Q3 2017, the company reports a 7% increase in revenues.

This is due to higher average production and an increase in tariffs.

Over the current year, the average available capacity of 56.7 MW (net)). With continued drilling of additional wells planned for the coming months, the company is hopeful to further increase its capacity to 72 MW installed.
