Turcas Petrol plans 13.2 MW plant in Aydin province, Turkey

In a recent news piece from 4 Traders, “Turcas Petrol informed in a filing with the Bourse Istanbul that its 46% indirect subsidiary Turcas BM Kuyucak Jeotermal Elektrik Uretim applied on June 27 to the local energy market watchdog EPDK in order to receive a preliminary license to build a 13.2MW geothermal power plant in the province of Aydin in western Turkey.”

The same news source sates that In September last year,  “Turcas Enerji Holding signed an agreement with BM Muhendislik and Alte Enerji to set up a geothermal joint venture, namely Turcas BM Kuyucak Jeotermal Elektrik Uretim, in the town of Kuyucak-Aydin. Turcas Enerji Holding would hold a 46% stake in the JV, BM Muhendislik would own another 46% and Alte Enerji’s stake in the joint venture would be 8%,”
