UNU-GTP geothermal workshop graduating 30 specialists from Latin America
The UNU Geothermal Training Program recently graduated 30 specialists from various countries in Latin America with a Diploma in Geothermal Engineering from its program conducted at the University of El Salvador.
The United Nations University Geothermal Training Program (UNU-GTP) graduated 30 geothermal specialists. Participants included students from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and El Salvador at a ceremony on 20 December 2016.
The graduates received their Diploma in Geothermal Engineering from a program conducted at the University of El Salvador, under the framework of the Geothermal Training Program of the United Nations University (UNU-GTP) and LaGeo. The course is coordinated by the School of Graduate of the FIA-UES and LaGeo (Geothermal Energy in El Salvador).
The program was extended since August 2016and ended on December 20th. Participants included students from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and El Salvador.
