Updated legal overview on U.S. tax incentives and programs

Law firm Klein Hornig releases update on geothermal tax incentives and programs in the U.S. as part of its regular overall renewable program overview in light of recent legislative changes.

Released this week, law firm Klein Hornig, has provided an update to its overview on “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Tax Incentives and Federal and State Tax Programs”.

The law firm has regularly updated its overview and now includes the recent changes to the production tax credits.

The overview provided here, shows all the incentives and programs as they relate to geothermal projects and development.

In an email communication I was also pointed toward the Federal New Markets Tax Credit program, which could also provide a source of income for geothermal.
