The Geothermal Development Company has several open tenders for supplies and services for the Baringo-Silali geothermal project in Kenya.
The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) has announced several tenders for supplies and services related to development of the Baringo-Silali geothermal project in Kenya. Linked below are the open tenders:
- Supply and delivery of lubricants
- Supply and delivery of PDC bits
- Supply and delivery of drilling detergent
- Hiring of crane services
- Supply and delivery of rig bridle lines
- Supply and delivery of cementing accessories
The deadlines for the tenders vary but are within the period of November 2 to 14, 2022.
GDC expects to develop 100 MW of geothermal power generation capacity from the three prospects (Paka, Korosi, and Silali) within the Baringo-Silali geothermal area. In early 2022, GDC announced the start of the production drilling phase in Baringo-Silali with the drilling of Paka Well 3 A (PW-03A).
