Wayland Energy joins geothermal operator group in South Holland

Wayland Energy BV has joined the Cooperative Geothermal Energy Management Netherlands (CABN). Within this collaboration, geothermal operators in South Holland share knowledge, personnel and materials for management, maintenance and data analysis. From the collective, members can exchange personnel for visual inspections or minor maintenance and lend materials. Safety, health and environment (HSE) care systems are also drawn up for affiliated members in accordance with the protocol of Geothermie Nederland.

The collaboration contributes to sustainable and safe geothermal energy production. “The knowledge gained is shared 100% and all geothermal installations benefit from this,” says Willem van der Voort, chairman of CABN. He welcomes Wayland Energy’s entry into ABN. “The knowledge of Wayland Energy ensures an even stronger collective.”

Cooperative Geothermal Energy Management Netherlands started as a collaboration of three geothermal projects in the Westland, Geothermal heat Vogelaer, Geopower Oudcamp and Greenwell Westland. Two members from Oostland have joined this, Ammerlaan Geothermie and Wayland Energy.
