The speaker for this webinar will be Luis Miguel Blanes Restoy, Researcher at the University of Galway.
The GEOFIT project involves the installation of a mid-size ground source heat pump at the University of Galway. This will be used to heat the swimming pool in the Sports Centre.
In this webinar, Luis will introduce the project, design process, technologies involved, construction process and the data acquisition for the long-term monitoring. A focus will be on the practical lessons learned throughout the project.
This is a mid-size heat pump project in a University campus context that can be of interest to other public sector building and portfolio managers, but also for policy makers, local authorities, and engineers involved in similar projects.
