The World Geothermal Congress 2020+1 in Reykjavik, Iceland has relaunched its website with information on the updated extensive program both virtually and onsite.

With only two weeks until the kick-off of the virtual event series, of the World Geothermal Congress 2020+1 hosted by Iceland, a new and improved website for the congress has been launched.

The kick-off event will take place on March 30, 2021, so  make sure to reserve the date. Details on the program and the prominent line-up of speakers will be revealed later this week.

“The geothermal semester of 2021 is starting. In the next months we will be hosting virtual events every month and never before has the geothermal community had this kind of access to the technical program of the World Geothermal Congress. Whether you watch live or you watch the recordings later in your free time, every single paper will be at your fingertips. Then in October, we will welcome all those that can travel, to join us in Reykjavik for the on-site conference and see first hand how Iceland is the home of geothermal.”, so Bjarni Pálsson, Chair of the Organising Committee for the  World Geothermal Congress.
