Within Energy acquires new geothermal exploration permits in Queenslands, Australia

Within Energy has expanded their portfolio with three new Geothermal Exploration Permits in various areas within Queensland, Australia.

Local renewable energy company Within Energy has announced the addition of three Geothermal Exploration Permits (EPGs) across Queensland, Australia to their baseload energy portfolio. This is in addition to the three EPGs that the company had already secured earlier this year in South-East Queensland.

Thus far, the EPGs of Within Energy are as follows, with the latter three representing the newest additions:

Within Energy is planning to develop shallow geothermal resources from permeable formations east of the The Great Divide. Considering the low temperatures expected in this region, the use of binary power plant technology is planned.
