Work on 28 MW Ngawha geothermal plant extension in NZ progressing
The Ngawha geothermal power station expansion project is being worked on and on schedule and – as the company announced in a recent update video – and should be operational by the end of 2020.
Top Energy is an electricity generation and lines company in the Far North of NZ on the northern tip of the North Island. The company is operating the Ngawha geothermal power plant with extensions operated at a current 25 MW installed capacity.
The company has been planning the 28 MW expansion and has now completed a drilling campaign and reported on the demobilisation of the rig of Iceland Drilling Company.
