Yeager Energy expands geothermal business in Netherlands with third acquisition

Yeager Energy has acquired Aardwarmte Vierpolders as the company continues to expand its geothermal heating business in the Netherlands.
Yeager Energy has announced the acquisition of Aardwarmte Vierpolders, a geothermal greenhouse company based in Vierpolders in the Netherlands. This marks the third major acquisition of Yeager Energy, following Wayland Energy and Aardwarmte Vogelaer, as it continues to expand its geothermal business.
Yeager Energy is currently operating geothermal projects with a total heat capacity of 60 MWth while also developing five other geothermal projects. The acquisition of Aardwarmte Vierpolders expands the company’s operational assets to four producing projects. According to a company statement, the business aims to develop, own, and operate a portfolio of geothermal energy projects that supply heat to greenhouse horticulture, residential, and industrial sectors in the Netherlands and other parts of Europe.
The company had previously secured investment from Kerogen Capital and another EUR 100 million from Pioneer Point Partners.
