Zorlu Energy augments geothermal power plant capacity with solar

Zorlu Energy will be building more solar power plants to complement existing geothermal power plants in Alasehir and Kizildere, Türkiye.

Zorlu Geothermal Energy Electricity Generation Inc. (Zorlu Energy) has announced that additional solar power plants will be built to augment the installed capacities of the company’s geothermal power plants in Alasehir and Kizildere, Türkiye.

This follows up the initiative of Zorlu Energy to convert the Alasehir Geothermal Power Plant in the Manisa Province into a hybrid power plant with the addition of a a solar power plant with a peak power of 3.75 MWp. This was the first hybrid power plant commissioned by Zorlu Energy.
