Aboitiz Power, one of the leading geothermal operators in the Philippines has been named the Best Managed Power Company in Asia in the recent Finance Asia's Annual Best companies Asia Poll.

AboitizPower has been recently named the Best Managed Power Company in Asia in Finance Asia’s 17th Annual Best Companies Asia Poll, according to a recent release by the company.

It is the third time AboitizPower has received the award.

This award is a recognition of the trust and confidence respondents have placed on our management team as they look for a safe home for their investments, a reasonable and sustainable return, and a chance to be part of a growth story they believe in.

The FinanceAsia Poll, which garnered 180 responses from fund managers and analysts around the world, asked investors for their views on which listed companies around Asia they consider to be the best managed, with the best senior executives, the best policies around corporate governance, and the best corporate social responsibility programs, among other matters.

Aboitiz Power subsidiary, AP Renewables, Inc. (APRI), is one of the leading geothermal energy producers in the Philippines, delivering clean and renewable base-load power with the two facilities that it operates in Tiwi, Albay; Bay and Calauan, Laguna; and Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
