A BLM geothermal lease sale will be held for 8 parcels in the State of Oregon on Sept. 15, 2022.

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering 8 parcels containing 6169.490 acres in the State of Oregon for internet-based competitive geothermal leasing.

The lease areas are located south of the Newberry Volcano in Bend county, Oregon.

The sale date is Thursday, September 15, 2022. The open bidding period will begin at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) / 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST). Each parcel will have its own unique open bidding period, with start and stop times clearly identified on the auction website. The open bidding period for each parcel will run for one hour, from start to finish, and bids will only be accepted during a parcel’s open bidding period.
