Enel Green Power reports an additional 120 MW potential for its Cerro Pabellón project in Chile, which is in addition to previously estimated 50 MW of power generation capacity potential.

The Italian company Enel Green Power said recently that has a large portfolio of renewable projects in all technologies in Latin America because it is a market that is growing rapidly and where energy demand is expected to grow at an annual rate 2020 3.5% view.

Enel has said that in the section there is a huge geothermal potential and the company has a long tradition in Larderello which is one of its strengths.

In Chile, the Cerro Pabellon geothermal project where he had made an estimate of 50 MW could be increased to reach 120 MW , if the exploration of new resources for the recently acquired three new concessions produce the expected results.
