The second annual GeoPower Turkey geothermal conference will take place October 16-17, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey and feature the market opportunities in the growing geothermal market of the country.

As part of this year-s Turkish International Renewable Energy Congress, the second annual GeoPower Turkey will take place and feature the renewable energy ambitions of Turkey and explore what proportion of this will be geothermal.

The market is rapidly expanding and many companies are looking at or are already working in Turkey. The event will presentations on the government’s plans for the renewable energy mix.

Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success with over 230 participants from across Turkey, the USA, Italy, Germany and the UK as well as representation from 17 other countries across Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East.

The event this year focuses on maintaining Turkey’s impressive growth through sustainable policy practices and efficient operating procedures. Participants this year will be developers, investors, policy makers and manufacturers as we ensure that the Turkish geothermal market achieves its enormous potential.

The conference features a large number of high level speakers from companies like: Atlas Copco, TAS Energy, Power Engineers, Barok, Erzurum, TURSEFF Project, Zorlu Enerji, Delta Investment Holdings, Exergy, Nooter Eriksen, Cryostar, Maran, Ankara University, Istanbul University, Ormat, Turkeler, KenGen, Turkish Petroleum, and Kayi Energy.
