GeoTHERM 2025 in Offenburg, Germany to highlight geothermal startups
Next year's GeoTHERM expo and congress in Offenburg, Germany will be offering a new area to highlight the fresh ideas and potential of geothermal start-ups.
The GeoTHERM 2025 Expo & Congress, Europe’s leading trade fair for geothermal, is shaping up to be a great success again with the entire exhibition space now fully booked even before the deadline of early bird booking. A special highlight for this year’s event is the Start Up Area, which provides a platform for young and innovative companies to be highlighted.
“The rapid sell-out of the exhibition area demonstrates the immense interest and confidence of the industry in GeoTHERM as a central platform for exchange and innovation in the field of geothermal energy,” commented project manager Gabriele Weislogel.
“With the Start-Up Area, we want to specifically promote young companies that are helping to create the future of geothermal energy with fresh approaches and a pioneering spirit. GeoTHERM offers the perfect platform for this, both to attract attention and to form valuable partnerships,” Weislogel further added.
The Start-Up Area is a platform presenting new ideas, potentially creating opportunities for networking and investment. In close proximity to established industry leaders, young companies can make valuable contacts with potential investors, business partners and mentors.
This opportunity is invaluable, especially for start-ups, which often develop highly specialised and innovative solutions in the geothermal energy sector. Co-operations are formed here that pave the way for new business models and technological breakthroughs.
At the same time, the organisation of the GeoTHERM congress is progressing. The submissions for the congress on near-surface and deep geothermal energy are now available and are currently being reviewed by a panel of experts. The selected presentations will offer congress visitors in-depth insights into the latest research findings and practical developments. As every year, the congress, which takes place parallel to the exhibition, attracts international experts and offers simultaneous translation into German and English.
Next year’s GeoTHERM will build upon the success of this year’s event, which saw a record-breaking number of exhibitors and an impressive total of 6,509 visitors.
Advance sales for combined tickets (congress and exhibition) are already underway. Early bookers benefit from discounted prices until 30 November 2024: The 1-day ticket is available for 43 EUR and the 2-day ticket for 73 EUR.
