Every year, the conference brings together PhD students from Europe and afar who are currently doing research in geothermal energy and related fields. EGPD 2022 successfully took place April 27-29 at RWTH Aachen, Germany and was organized by the early-stage researchers of the EASYGO-ITN group (https://easygo-itn.eu/). More than 80 participants, including 54 PhD students, attended the conference which featured multiple keynote presentations from industry and academia experts, poster sessions for students to showcase their research and a wide array of social activities.
