Job – Geothermal Project Manager, Geothermal, Erdwerk, Germany
German consultancy ERDWERK is seeking to fill the position of a Geothermal Project Manager at its operations in Munich, Germany.
As one of the leading planners of geothermal projects in Europe, Germany-based ERDWERK GmbH has a solid reputation built on a portfolio of successful projects since being established in 2002. A multidiscipline team provide the complete suite of services for all subsurface activities, specializing in Geology, Hydrogeology, Reservoir Engineering and Drilling Engineering.
Based in Munich, Germany, ERDWERK serves a diverse range of clients from local communities and utility companies to private entities and investors.
To strengthen its team, ERDWERK is now looking for an experienced Project Manager with a technical background in either Geology, Reservoir Engineering or Drilling Engineering.
As Project Manager you shall be responsible for guiding projects from early feasibility phases through detailed planning and drilling. Activities will include:
- General project manager activities, including controlling, project planning and invoicing.
- Guidance through permitting process.
- Management and technical development of all work packages, ensuring delivery to specification and on time.
- Communication and reporting with the client.
In addition to project management duties, you shall be expected to utilize your technical expertise to contribute to relevant work packages.
You
- Undergraduate degree in Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Geology.
- Candidates with Masters, PhD or further specialism favored.
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience.
- Dynamic and proactive work ethic, able to work independently and with initiative.
- International mindset and willing to travel and work on site.
- Experience in geothermal or deep drilling projects.
- Fluent in German and English, further languages such as French and Spanish advantageous.
