Through masterful execution and coordination, Bollore Logistics and Sumitomo Corporation have finished the logistical preparations for the Muara Laboh project in West Sumatra, Indonesia

With the arrival of 50 shipments consisting of 15,000 freight tonnes in West Sumatra, Indonesia, and their arrival at the project site, the logistical preparations for the Muara Laboh project development has finally been completed. From the beginning of 2018 to March 2019, Bollore Logistics handled the logistics operations and coordinated the arrival of parts and equipment from various global ports.

Prior to the arrival of the parts, Bollore Logistics was also responsible for road surveys to the project site, which was about 150 kilometers away from the Padang port and had to go through steep, mountainous areas. The first road surveys were done back in 2016.

The logistics contract for the Muara Laboh geothermal project was awarded to Bollore Logistics by Sumitomo Corporation. The excellent cooperation between Bollore Logistics and Sumitomo resulted in safe operations and the delivery of timely results, an output that will be greatly critical to the success of the project headed by PT Supreme Energy Muara Laboh.
