Registration is open for a free Deep Geothermal Workshop organized by AFPG and IEA Geothermal, to be held in Paris, France on 10 April 2025.
Registration is still open for an in-person Deep Geothermal Workshop to be held in Paris, France on 10 April 2025. The workshop is being organized by IEA Geothermal and the French Association of Geothermal Professionals (AFPG) and will focus on the use of deep geothermal energy for heating and cooling.
Attendance is free of charge. However, the workshop is limited only to 80 persons. For those interested, please register as soon as you can to secure your place. The presentations will be in English. Click here to register.
The draft programme is available at the official event page. The morning sessions will discuss the big picture of geothermal heating and cooling in Europe, while the afternoon sessions will be more technically focused.
Heymi Bahar of the International Energy Agency (IEA) will be presenting the IEA Future of Geothermal Energy report that was published in December 2024. There will also be speakers from the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) and other influential groups from France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
