Three separate tenders on regional geothermal development in Guadeloupe, Caribbean
The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) has launched three tenders on regional geothermal development in Guadeloupe, Caribbean with a planned Caribbean Geothermal Centre of Excellence.
As part of the Interreg Energy Transition project in the Caribbean, and in partnership with the Guadeloupe Region, the French BRGM and OECS, Agence de la transition écologique (ADEME) has announced the launch of three tenders on the theme of regional geothermal development:
- Operational implementation of the Caribbean Centre of Excellence in Geothermal, based in Guadeloupe
- Study of the content and how to implement the training programme provided through the Caribbean Centre of Excellence in Geothermal
- Designing and writing a guide to the environmental and societal integration of geothermal projects

Note: We have since heard from ADEME with the following statement: “The bidding process follows European rules, so anyone can apply, yet the official language is French. A good option for international bidders would be to apply in a partnership with a French/Caribbean entity.”
