As part of the Baseload Capital Virtual Seminar on trends in geothermal energy - join ThinkGeoEnergy's Alexander Richter for a discussion on media and marketing for geothermal energy on Feb. 16, 2021.

Geothermal energy  is the underdog in the renewable energy space. Often misunderstood and undervalued in the context of the energy transition, there might be some change on the horizon. The attributes of geothermal energy and what it offers to the energy transition receives more and more attention  and – likely more importantly – is being recognised.

Yet, we are still far away from where we could be as an industry both in utilisation of geothermal, but also in the visibility and attention we deserve.

So I am rather glad that Swedish Baseload Capital, an investment company and developer of small-scale geothermal plants  has put the topic on what we can do to increase the profile and make geothermal “trend” a theme in its upcoming Virtual Seminar “The earth has power- Lets’ switch it on.”

  • Feb. 16, 2021  – 7-8:30 (PST/GMT -8), 10-11:30 (EST/GMT-5), 16:00-17:30 (CET/GMT +1)

The event looks at what trends are most affecting geothermal energy. With inspirational speakers, such as COO of Baseload Capital, Pernilla Wihlborg, billionaire investor, entrepreneur, and possibilist, Mr. Vinod Khosla, and John Redfern, CEO of Eavor Technologies, it truly promises to be an exciting event.

Towards the later part of the event, I will participate in a discussion with Kristina Hagtröm-Ilievska in where we will continue on points we have been discussing before on what makes it challenging for us to promote geothermal and how we can push for more attention and help it gain momentum in recognition in development –  all in the context of media and marketing.

So don’t miss this exciting event on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021.
