EGEC and RHC-ETIP are inviting to a webinar on a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Geothermal Technologies on Sept. 24, 2020.

The European Geothermal Energy Council has announced a webinar on “A New Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Geothermal Technologies” together with the Renewable Heating & Cooling – European Technology Innovation Platform (RHC-ETIP).

The webinar will take place Thursday, 24th September 2020 at 11:00-12:30 Brussels time

Geothermal heating and cooling combine the characteristics that play a crucial role for achieving a fully decarbonized energy system: such applications are clean, provide affordable energy for the economy and the people, and allow for competitiveness of the European industry.

Join EGEC and RHC-ETIP webinar on the newly released Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for Geothermal Technologies on 24th of September 2020 at 11.00AM CEST.

This Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) on geothermal heating and cooling technologies constitutes an update and blending text of the previous Geothermal Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) and subsequent Geothermal Implementation Roadmap.

It intends to define the new research topics to answer the challenges of the geothermal energy sector in Europe and to bring them into a quantifiable timescale and dimension in terms of required funding.

This webinar will identify a path forward for Research and Innovation in geothermal heating and cooling technologies.
