During a visit to software power house Seequent, Alexander Richter founder and editor of ThinkGeoEnergy was interviewed by Graham Grant, COO of Seequent talking about the motivation behind founding ThinkGeoEnergy and his thoughts about the industry.

How does one share a news piece that’s written about yourself? … well, I just do it now … in November 2018, I had the great pleasure to attend the New Zealand Geothermal Workshop in Wairakei, New Zealand. As part of the trip, I got the chance to visit with software power house Seequent in Christchurch in the South of the country.

To meet a company and a team that has brought fresh thinking into our industry was a fantastic experience. Together with Rocelle Mendoza of EDC in the Philippines, we had the opportunity to tour the office, speak with staff and present to staff in a meeting.

To then be interviewed by Graham Grant, the COO of Seequent was a great opportunity to turn things around …

In the interview I talk about why I founded ThinkGeoEnergy in 2008 and the motivation behind it and where our industry is headed.
